Forbes is a Technician / trainee Transport Planner.  Forbes has a passion for hill walking and off-road cycling with his hobby interests including mixed martial arts.

Forbes is currently being mentored by Mark as he develops his skills and experience within our business. He is currently providing support on a wide range of our Active Travel studies including Nairn High Street ‘The Braes’, Annan Active Toun and Hillington Park Staff Travel Survey where he provided support in developing and administering the staff survey.

Forbes typically provides a supporting role to the team including preparing layout sketches, landownership plans and assisting in stakeholder mapping, preparing access layouts and plotting landownership extents.

An enthusiastic Transport Engineering Technician. He supports our delivery of a variety of projects such as cycleway design, junction design and masterplanning Experienced in AutoCAD, using the software in conjunction with design standards and guidance for roads/cycleways which aids him in the completion of delivering various projects.

Forbes remains very enthusiastic to be involved in new challenges and opportunities working as part of wider delivery teams.  A driver, motorcyclist, keen cyclist and father of Kai, he provides a well-rounded road user experience and the challenges of walking and cycling with a 2-year-old.
