Despite the fantastic weather which did a very convincing job of influencing the communities decision on how they spend their evening, we are delighted to see a very positive turnout to our community engagement event.
Over our 3 hour event we received some really good ideas and had some really informative discussions regarding barriers to walking and cycling in the community and how our Active Travel network should be developed to promote positive Travel Behaviour change.
We also picked up some willing contacts of local community representatives who will help us reach out to consultees from less well represented demographics.
We look forward to following up with them.
